From Fayl-Billot, the basket-making capital, to Langres, a fortified town with a remarkable heritage, via the sumptuous Renaissance gardens of Joinville, this stay combines culture, craftsmanship and local gastronomy.

  • Immerse yourself in the art of basketry at Fayl-Billot

    Your escapade begins in Fayl-Billot, a mecca for basketry in France. You'll attend a demonstration by a professional basket-maker and discover the fascinating history of this ancestral craft at the Maison de la Vannerie. A captivating visit that highlights a know-how still very much alive.

  • Langres: an exceptional fortified town

    Continue your stay in Langres, ranked among France's most beautiful fortified towns. Comfortably seated in a little tourist train, you'll criss-cross the 3 km of ramparts and discover the town's architectural treasures. The tour ends with a harquebus firing demonstration and a tasting of local specialties, including the famous Langres cheese.
