Day 1

Paris - Havana

Meet at Roissy CDG airport in the late morning (flight times will be given later) - Welcomed by your guide - Assistance with boarding formalities for your scheduled flight. Arrival in Havana late afternoon. Welcome drink. Check-in at your hotel. Dinner or cold meal depending on arrival time. Overnight accommodation.

Day 2

Havana

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a morning tour of colonial Havana: Plaza de Armas, the city museum, Cathedral Square and the craft market, San Francisco Square, the Ambos Mundos hotel where Hemingway stayed, Calle Obispo, the Palace of Crafts...

Lunch at a restaurant in Habana Vieja. Then discover Havana's landmarks: Vedado, Revolution Square, Miramar, Fifth Avenue. Visit to the Havana Club Foundation.

Dinner at a restaurant in Old Havana before the "Canon Ceremony". Return to your hotel - Overnight.

Day 3

Havana - Vinales

Breakfast at the hotel, then departure for the tobacco region and the majestic green valley of Viñales.

One of Cuba's most beautiful landscapes, and the birthplace of the world's finest tobacco. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999, the Viñales Valley has everything you could wish for: breathtaking scenery, traditional tobacco plantations... making it an unmissable stopover. You'll discover a pleasant village with its "bohios", pretty little peasant houses from days gone by, and its strange "Mogotes", monoliths created by the acid attack of limestone. You'll continue with a walk through the valley and its superb landscape of crops: manioc, malanga, sweet potato, mango, pineapple, banana... and from November to March, tobacco.

Lunch at the "Paraiso chez Rachel" organic farm, a veritable benchmark for this type of farming in the region and throughout the island. You'll overlook the valley with a magnificent view of the Mogotes.

After lunch, you'll learn all about the cigar-making process. You'll then head off to visit Finca Montesino and meet Marcello. A veritable agricultural farm with animals, coffee and mango trees...not to mention tobacco plantations. We'll explain the whole cigar-making process around the three drying kilns. You'll be able to enjoy a tasting session over a cup of coffee (available for purchase).

Check-in, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 4

Vinales - Las Terrazas - Havana

Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the Las Terrazas Biosphere Reserve, home to over 6 million trees and a wide variety of tropical species.

Lunch at a restaurant featuring a typical dish, Ropa Vieja. You'll then be welcomed by the inhabitants of this community, who will show you the different aspects of their activities.

Swimming at the end of the visit in the San Juan waterfalls. Return to Havana in the late afternoon. Check-in at your hotel.

Dinner with Buena Vista Social Club music in a downtown restaurant. Return to your hotel - Overnight.

Day 5

Havana - Cienfuegos - Trinidad

Breakfast, then departure for the Zapata region via the famous "Bay of Pigs".

Continue on to Cienfuegos, long known as the "Pearl of the Caribbean", for a panoramic tour of the city, a visit to the Terry Theatre, a tour of the Palacio del Valle and a cocktail on the terrace.

Lunch at the Club Cienfuegos restaurant with its unique seafront location, before a delightful cruise across the splendid bay to the imposing Castillo de Jagua. Continuation to Trinidad. Check-in at a Casa Particular (for 2 nights), dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6

Trinidad

Breakfast followed by departure for the historic center of Trinidad, a splendid UNESCO World Heritage city and undoubtedly the most authentic "museum city".

Afterwards, enjoy musical entertainment at La Canchancharra tavern, where you can taste the famous cocktail of the same name in a small terracotta bowl under the pergola, to the sounds of traditional music.

Lunch at a restaurant serving its speciality of yellow rice cooked in beer and served on earthenware plates.

You'll then visit the colonial city, founded in 1514 by Diego Velasquez. Uneven cobblestone streets, houses painted yellow and ochre, twisted grills on windows, balconies, horse-drawn carts: it's like being back in the 18th century! You'll discover the charming "Plaza Santa Ana", the superb "Plaza Mayor" with its brightly-colored mansions and beautiful wrought-iron gates. Then visit the Palacio Cantero, a superb colonial house with a patio, once owned by the slave trader Borrel, and later by Cantero, who introduced the steam engine to the island. Free time to stroll through the Trinidad market and discover its handicrafts (embroidery, Cuban hats, sculptures and basketry).

Lobster dinner and folklore evening. Return to your Casa Particular - Night.

Day 7

Trinidad - Camaguey

Breakfast, then off to the Los Ingenios Valley, once home to the world's largest sugar estates and numerous sugar mills. You'll visit the Torre Iznaga in the middle of sugarcane fields, built by a slave trader turned sugar miller.

Lunch en route, then on to Camagüey, nicknamed "the city of churches".

City tour on foot to discover the Plaza San Juan de Dios and its church, the Plaza Agramonte, the Plaza Macéo, the churches of La Soledad and La Merced, the cathedral and the main theater. Visit to Ignacio Agramonte's house museum. Dinner and overnight at your hotel

Day 8

Camaguey - Holguin- Santiago de Cuba

Breakfast, then departure by road for Holguin. You'll take a city tour and discover the Parque Calixto Garcia, the Casa de la Cultura, the Museo Provencial, the Parc Cespedes to see the San Isidoro Cathedral and the Mirador de Mayabe.

Lunch, then on to Santiago de Cuba. Check-in, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 9

Santiago de Cuba

Breakfast followed by a visit to the Moncada Barracks Museum.

You'll take a city tour by bus, then continue on foot through Herédia and Padre Pico streets and Cespedes Park, with its cathedral and town hall. You'll visit Diego Velasquez's house and discover the Carnival Museum. Take a boat trip to Grama Island for lunch.

In the afternoon, visit the Morro fortress and Ifigénia cemetery.

Dinner at a restaurant in town before enjoying a most lively and typical moment at the Casa de la Trova to the famous sound of the "SON de Cuba"! Return to your hotel for the night.

Day 10

Santiago de Cuba - Bayamo

Breakfast followed by departure for Bayamo, "the city of horse-drawn carriages". En route, you'll discover the majestic El Cobre basilica, then take a stroll through the charming town of Bayamo: Revolution Square, Anthem Square and Garcia shopping street.

Lunch, then a visit to Cespedes' birthplace, now a museum, followed by a stop at the famous "Casa de la Trova" to listen to traditional music. Check-in, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 11

Bayamo - Las Tunas - Camaguey

Breakfast, then departure for the west and the province of Las Tunas.

Lunch, then on to Camagüey through fields of sugar cane, citrus fruit and vegetables. Arrival in Camagüey, famous for its "Tinajones", huge earthenware jars. Check-in, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 12

Camaguey - Sancti Spiritus - Santa Clara

Breakfast, then departure by bici-taxi through the streets of Camagüey. Continue to Sancti Spiritus and visit the colonial center.

Lunch at the restaurant, then on to Santa Clara, Che's hometown. Visit to the armoured train monument. Stop at Revolution Square, then visit the museum and mausoleum. City tour. Check-in, dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 13

Santa Clara - Havana - Paris

Breakfast, then departure for Havana. Lunch en route before continuing to Jose Marti airport. Assistance at the airport. Services and overnight on board.

Day 14

Paris

Arrival in Paris in the morning. Assistance with baggage claim. End of our services.
